New Date Spot in NYC: Margaux

ImageHere at The Dating Lounge, we’re always on the lookout for new, romantic restaurants that make for great date spots. Our latest favorite is Margaux at the recently restored Marlton Hotel (a longtime haunt of the writer Jack Kerouac).

Nestled on a quiet street off of Washington Square Park, the French-Mediterranean restaurant is cozy and intimate with comfortable seating and dim lighting. The menu is ideal for sharing with many inventive renditions on classic French and Mediterranean dishes. Make sure to try their signature Farmer’s Board with Red Quinoa Tabouli, Spicy Smashed Sweet Potato, Avocado Hummus, Beets with Grains of Paradise.

If you finish dining and aren’t ready for your date to end just yet, stick around for a cocktail by the fireplace at the trendy adjoining lounge.

Or, if your date didn’t go as you had hoped, don’t despair, go ahead and join The Dating Lounge and see if any of your friends’ friends are better matches for you.
